Telluride Animal Foundation and Second Chance Humane Society are announcing an exciting change for both organizations in the transfer of the Telluride Thrift Shop to Second Chance Humane Society.  Beginning August 1st, the Telluride Thrift Shop, opened November 2011, will be fully owned and operated by Second Chance Humane Society.

Today the Telluride Animal Foundation announced that $60,000 has been raised since they opened the doors of the Telluride Thrift Shop, three months ago. The funds raised at the store have been donated to numerous organizations on the Western Slope and beyond to cover everything from hay donations to horse rescue groups to a donation to help Second Chance Humane Society in Ridgway with the purchase of a new adoption mobile.

The end of November the Telluride Animal Foundation will be opening the Telluride Thrift Shop… An all volunteer store that will donate all  proceeds to animals in need. We are now taking donations of stuff! No longer do we just need your time and money (we still like that too),
