Disco Ball Charities

We have chosen our charities! After some serious research into the local shelters and their programs, TAF has come to chose three local programs to support. And as a reminder, all the proceeds from ticket sales, silent auction, and donations will go directly to these programs!

Black Canyon Animal Sanctuary, Crawford, CO – Senior Dogs for Seniors. This is a wonderful program that helps rescue those older animals that have such a hard time finding homes. It is a win/win situation to help the animals as well as local elders.

Second Chance Humane Society, Ridgway, CO – Spay & Neuter Clinics. Our most local shelter puts together spay and neuter clinics frequently to ultimately help lower the number of dog and cat pregnancies, and thereby lowering the number of animals in shelters around the country. Our donations will help defer the costs of the procedures making it easier for locals to afford the medical expenses.

Spring Creek Horse Rescue, Bayfield, CO – Feed/Hay. It is easy to forget about horse rescues with all the publicity for cats and dogs, but in the southwest, horses need help too! And the biggest need in this horse rescue is feed and hay. A horse needs to eat!
